As many of you have probably noticed, I read a lot of YA books! I love the stories and how jam-packed they are of emotion. I love the adventure and the exploration of the world, fantasy or reality, and of their own personal self. I fell in love with YA and never grew out of it and probably never will!
So in support of I Read YA week, whats your favorite YA book(s)?

Haha I do read your blog but I guess not enough! I’m a busy girl (reading books and such) And you should totally get a Mockingjay Pin tattoo! I have mockingjay earrings that I wear way too much and it’s one of the coolest book related symbols I’ve ever seen.
If you liked the Hunger Games, I have tons of books that you would really enjoy then!

I love tattoo’s, I just don’t know if I want tattoo’s or not! I think working in a nursing home and seeing old peoples tat’s had an effect on me!
Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments Series is really good and the final book comes out in a week or so! No waiting to find out what happens for you sir!

Yeah they’re Shadow Hunters and which means they’re pretty much human but with a hint of angel blood.

Look into Scott Westerfeld! I think you might like him. And JUST BECAUSE YOU MIGHT LIKE IT MORE?! PUH-LEASE! Give it a shot! You won’t like it more… I liked THG better but Divergent was a great follow up book

Yeah, but not too much. I beta read New Adult and I like Adult Fiction too. I like pretty much anything but over the top romance and non fiction. Like you, I also refuse to read anything by a celebrity.

Are you like a professional beta reader or something? Are you sure you’ll want to beta read mine? Cause it’s detective fiction. Not exactly what you’re describing. You don’t have to.
There is one celebrity I’d read. Alex Morgan. Oh my goodness. She writes a soccer series for kids/teens. And she’s perfect. 😉

I just found my niche with YA and really enjoy the books.
OH! Another great series, its actually a kids series but its so good, is the Rangers Apprentice series by John Flanagan.

There’s quite a few books in the series but I really loved the story. It’s kinda a nice change of pace from adult books.

My book is based on a dream I had. I think it’s because I was watching Jericho on netflix and my mind decided to distort it into something crazy! Basically there is this device that is very similar in the way it works to an EMP but instead of killing technology it erases everyone’s memories. They know basic skills but any memory of how they learned those skills are completely gone. The device and the name of the book is called the Galaxy Key… Also came from my dream. 🙂

Yes I do. I dreamed today about a character from a TV show I watch. It was a guy. Hahaha
I self published. Honestly, because it was my first book and I didn’t want to tackle getting an agent and finding a publisher and all that. I will this time around.

Around 2000 words. Not very much but I’ve been researching EMP’s and bomb shelters a lot so I could get ideas for more of the technical details.
